Large French Limoges Porcelain Rectangular Orange Gilt Box

As found in Paris, an impressive Limoges hand painted box. The colors on this box are fantastic, the orange is painted what we would describe as Hermes orange. The gold gilt certainly makes this piece very elegant. The underside of the box is marked Limoges France. This box could be functional holding trinkets or jewelry but could also stand alone on a cocktail or side table.
