About the Item

Exquisitely carved lidded box by Alexandre Noll (1890-1970), created around 1950. The walnut wood exhibits a smooth, polished finish, retaining its natural charm. The lid securely fastens with a small twisting movement, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship by the renowned French wood sculptor and furniture designer. The box is signed "ANoll" on the bottom. Provenance: Originally part of an Austrian private collection, personally acquired by Mme Noll.
