    Art deco lacquer box designed by Wordley Allsopp & Bliss. A beautiful colorful art deco box, created at the 33 East Kinney Street, in Newark New Jersey by the Wordley Allsopp & Bliss Company, back in the 1930. This rectangular box was carefully crafted in solid sterling silver .925/.999 with accents in 14 karats yellow gold. The complete outer parts are embellished with geometric patterns made up in green malachite and black lacquer. The inside are finished with high polish and gilding. Weight: 82.95 Grams, (53.17 Dwt). Measurements: 75 mm by 58 mm by 22 mm (2.95 x 2.28 x 0.87 Inches). Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the assay of the metals and signed, "WAB STERLING & 14K". Wordley Allsopp & Bliss Wordley, Allsopp and Bliss (WAB) was founded in 1909 in Newark, New Jersey yet can trace its roots back to before 1885 when Henry Allsopp became a jeweler and registered his mark by 1891.
