About the Item

This fabulous octagonal box carved from Makrana marble. Once used for the Taj Mahal, it is known to be the most dense marble in the world. Inlaid Abalone and Lapis Lazuli adorn this exquisite box with a satin weave pattern. The interior is lined with a plush neutral velvet fabric. We found this beautiful handmade, one of a kind box to be unique in color and design, in Agra, India. A stunning gift for that special, deserving someone!
