Modernist Brass Urn, Box or Tea Caddy, circa 1960

About the Item

This stylish neoclassical Mid-Century modernist decorative lidded box or tea caddy boasts a rectangular shape with a streamlined construction. The tabernacle box was crafted in England circa 1960. The box boasts polished brass metal with a hinged, domed lid shaped like an urn. There is no visible designer's mark, but the box is stamped "67" on the side. Dimensions: 6.88 in wide (17.5cm) x 4.94 in deep (12.5cm) x 5.13 in high (13cm).
