About the Item
Beautiful music box by Bendon.
Made in about 1880 in Switserland by this well known manufacturer. The mechanism plays 8 tunes on a 28cm cylinder as indicated on the original 'Bendon' tunesheet. Animated by 3 chinamen hitting the 6 bells. The speed regulator is marked 'AP&Co' for the seller.
The case has inlay to the top, front, left and right side and is raised on small feet. French polished to all sides (except bottom...)
