Art Nouveau lunch box or bread bin made in Germany around 1910. Decorated with white and blue honeycomb pattern and the written on top: Unser tägliches Brot gib uns heute (give us our daily bread).
This bin was made for storing bread. In beautiful but used condition with many signs of age and use - chips, rust and strong discoloration on the inside (see pictures). The rear hinge, the front closure and the lid handle are crafted in Art Nouveau style.
This decorative antique white and blue enamel box with a lid adds character to any space.
