About the Item
This handsome rosewood English vanity box retains the original glass bottles and jars with silver plated tops, 19th century. The inside reveals multiple compartments and a spring loaded lever opens the secret drawer below. Other features include claret-colored crushed velvet inside lid, mother of pearl escutcheon and inlaid emblem at top.
The decorative wooden stand is a later addition and compliments this lovely box.
The box measures 9 inches deep x 12 inches wide x 7 inches.
