About the Item
This round glass box has a lid covered of a nice blue straw marquetry, surrounded with brushed brass trims.
The radial design of the straw reminds the great Art deco period while the very chic blue color contrasts perfectly with the gold brass trims.
The handmade base is made of a thick glass.
The straw used for the marquetry is rye straw. It is dried and tinted then opened and flattened before to be sticked on the wood.
The straw has a natural silica varnish which makes it resistant and waterproof.
The dimensions of this piece are D 5.5" x H 4.3"
Care instructions:
To clean, simply wipe with a dry clean cloth
Do not use any cleaning agent on the surface
