This is a set of two small antique apothecary boxes. An English, yew wood miniature treen, dating to the mid Victorian period, circa 1860. Charmingly petite countertop chemist's pots Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good original order Quality yew wood shows fine grain interest and bright biscuit hues Box 1 of cylindrical form, the screw top accentuated with hand-written 'Gold' label Box 2 tapers, the chamfered lid hosts the number 15 This is a wonderful set of two antique apothecary boxes, of miniature proportion and ideal to house small screws, tacks or other desk accessories. Delivered waxed, polished and ready to keep on hand.
