Standing at 3.75 inches high with an 8-inch diameter, the two-piece round box is a visual masterwork, capturing the excitement of the 1920s Egyptomania frenzy. The lid is adorned with a profusely hand decorated motif , featuring the Egyptian Scarab Beetle as the earthly manifestation of the Sun at its birth, associated with a long life and in this sense; it is linked to the deceased, to his capacity for regeneration.
The contrasting black and white color scheme adds to the allure of this box, creating a stunning study in monochromatic beauty. The interior of the box is hand-painted with a black and white medallion, adding an extra layer of sophistication.
