Silver Oak Cellars Arvid 2006 Limited Edition wine box. Hardwood wine box with sliding lid, interior decorated with a serigraph image of a bottle of Silver Oak wine and glass, titled "It Stands Alone" by Thomas Arvid. Signed and numbered 90/275. Includes Certificate of Authenticity. Arvid has turned the phrase “think outside the box” on its head. He’s decided to think inside the box, and in so doing has found a new and surprising way to express his singular style. This first-of-its-kind limited edition is a meticulously crafted serigraph built into a genuine Silver Oak wine crate – it’s a classic Arvid with a sculptural twist. Thomas’ stretch beyond the bounds of a canvas echoes his advice on wine: “You can drink wine everyday and find something exciting. Don’t hesitate to experiment with fitting wine into your lifestyle; if it’s true to yourself and your life, you can’t go wrong.” "Thomas Arvid possesses an unerring ability to refine a moment. In doing so he captures our wonder and has become an art world phenomenon. Art Business News (May 2003) credits him with “launching a major art trend . . .” with his oversized still life compositions of wine and the rituals surrounding it.
