Very Large Black French Napoleon III Boulle Brass Decorative Box 19th Century
About the Item
Very beautiful and really super large box in brass Boulle marquetry style with triple fillets, with the count's crown and the coat of arms of the counts of Brittany, France on the cover. Gorgeous ornamentation of gilded bronzes with ingot mold, spandrels, handles. Precious wood interior with two small drawers, fine fillet marquetry. Quite impressive piece.
DIMENSIONS: L 60cm x W 40 cm x H 25 cm . FRANCE circa 1865
