About the Item

Handmade music box by Miguel Laguna, handcrafted in Granada, Spain, the box represent the Alhambra with Moorish arches, the outside is inlay with bone and marquetry, the inside is lined with red velvet. The Moorish architectural elements are on all four sides of the box, each side is framed by ivory composite architectural columns supporting a Moorish arch embossed with Islamic script and the court of the lions, very detailed in wood and beige composite to look like carved bone. The Moorish jewelry box is decorated with mosaic Middle Eastern style design marquetry with an inlaid geometric Moorish pattern in various colors of wood and bone. A truly beautiful souvenir Moorish building music box for your collection of Islamic art, architectural replicas, or figural music boxes.
