Large Edwardian silver chest jewellery box

About the Item

Large and decorative antique silver jewellery box of superb quality and lined with green velvet. The exterior has cast and applied supports and corners, domed central panel on the lid, slant gadroon borders and embossed panels. There are applied aprons decorated with thistles on the box and cover. This is altogether an exceptional piece. Weight is 1493g (48 troy ozs)
