English silver horse racing snuff box, Birmingham 1829
A silver snuff box with a scene from horse racing on top of the hinged lidded box. On the sides a guilocche pattern and inside the box a gilded interior. The snuffbox has the Silver hall marks from Birmingham, dated with F for 1829 and the Silversmith makers mark TS. Similar marks registered by Thomas Smith (1819), Thomas Shaw (1822) and Thomas Simpson (1825), Birmingham
