Octagonal George III period Rolled Paper Tea Caddy, c. 1780
About the Item
The lid mounted by metal hinges, and affixed with a brass pull.
Reference: Figure 6, "Rolled, Scrolled, Crimped & Folded: The Lost Art of Filagree Paperwork" by Florian Papp for a similar caddy with glass case around the frame, though making use of similar patterns.
