1940s Art Deco Hollywood Regency Cut Crystal Girandole with Brass Fittings

This stunning 1940s Art Deco Hollywood Regency Girandole was realized in the United States circa 1940. It features a sculptural base etched with foliate patterns that ascends into an undulating sculptural body. Two arms extend from the body with stylized floral candle holders (in translucent crystal) and scalloped bobeches from which a wealth of faceted crystals obelisks hang. Additionally, there is a brass detail separating the body from the central ornamental crown replete with hanging crystals and a stylized neoclassical finial. With its beautiful attention to detail and dramatic, old world aesthetic, this piece would be a winning accent to any style of interior from classic Art Deco/ 1940s Hollywood to contemporary. It is in excellent vintage condition.
