Antique French Gilt Bronze Girandole & Matching Lusters with Cast Noble Figures

About the Item

This antique girandole with matching lusters set are unsigned, but presumed to have originated from France and date to approximately 1890 and done in a Louis XVI style. The arms and cups of the dandle holders are done in ornately cast and gilt finished bronze with a central casting of a noble man and woman. The girandole and lusters are decorated with long faceted crystals, and each stands on a marble base. The girandole base is decorated with a pierced gilt bronze collar.

Repaired: One support bracket has been replaced with wire as presented in the photos. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor structural damages. Some wear to the arms of the girandole, and light bottom edge wear to the marble bases, and approximately twelve hanging crystals are missing as presented in the photos, and consisent with age and use.
