Pair of shell candlesticks. With a slender, elegant structure, with a rounded, stable base, slender stem and a slightly bulging top cup, intended to hold candles.
Casquinha, a metal alloy often used as a substitute for silver, gives the pieces a sophisticated shine, although the metal shows signs of oxidisation and patina, indicating antiquity. The decorative details are discreet, emphasising the harmonious shape of the candlesticks, which would be ideal for decorating dining tables, sideboards or altars, providing soft lighting and a touch of refinement to the room.
