About the Item

Magnificent Gilt Bronze Candelabra - A Thirteen-Light Masterpiece inspired by Second Empire This exceptional candelabra, boasting an impressive thirteen elegantly curved arms of light, is a testament to the artistry of its time. Meticulously crafted from chiseled brass and lavishly plated with 24-carat gold, it exudes a rich, warm glow that will transform any space. The superb quality of the gilding and the intricate detailing speak to the artisanal excellence that Maison Marnyhac was known for. Sculptural Splendor and Symbolic Detail: The candelabra's base is a remarkable sculptural composition. Two charming cherubs, seated on an intricately detailed boat, symbolize innocence and harmony, adding a touch of whimsical elegance. This nautical theme is further enhanced by three gracefully carved dolphins, evoking luxury, movement, and a connection to classical mythology. A Captivating Centerpiece: More than just a source of light, this candelabra is a true statement piece. Its impressive size and elaborate design make it a captivating focal point, perfect for a grand dining room, a formal living area, or any space seeking a touch of historical splendor.

Ormolu and Patina Bronez Candelabras
Located in Warsaw, PL
These are a pair of gilded candelabras inspired by the Louis XVI style-a style originating from France. The main shaft of the candelabras are constructed from female statues. Unlike the rest of the gilded parts of the candelabra, the women are made from patinated bronze and seems to be standing on one leg while holding up the candelabras’ arms, representing the intense vitality and brilliant beauty of women. At the feet of two young women holding lamps are soft and flexible waves, exuding strength and health, honoring the beauty of the young woman. By taking a closer look you will see that there are five arms radiating in all directions. In Western culture, the number 5 symbolizes origin, adaptability, adventure, love of freedom and diversity. The lamp base is constructed with a quadrilateral support with Acanthus inspired feet, which are classic motifs and delicately sculpted leaves. The combination of gold and bronze creates the subtle and rich tone to it, giving it true antique touch...
