About the Item
Candelabra in cast bronze featuring a Hoopoe* which is a beautiful little African bird. Hand crafted and unique candlestick in cast bronze. The decorative elements, such as the Hoopoe, were individually wax modelled, making each piece entirely unique, as no molds were used.
Height excluding candles is 42 cm. Candles not provided. Similar bronze single and double candle sticks in different sizes & motifs on request. Cost on application. Can also be made in pairs. Combining art, design and functionality, all furniture and lighting is exclusively sculpted, cast, chased and finished by myself. Using the lost wax method of bronzing, I cast each piece in my own foundry and it is finished individually by hand. Thus each candle stick is unique and patinas may vary.
All candle sticks and table lamps are hand made and one of a kind and made to order. Upon receipt of order the sculpting and casting takes place at my Black Dog Foundry. Shipping from South Africa is approx 5 - 6 weeks after placement of order.
