About the Item

Impressive pair of antique (late 19th century) French gilt bronze candelabra in the Empire style, circa 1880s, designed to be displayed on fireplace mantel or against a wall, with rouge marble bases raised on four scrolling feet, standard in form of a neoclassical pedestal with charcoal patina, and six candle arms in three tiers with their original bobeches. 31 by 15.5 by 10 inches.

Condition:
Wear consistent with age and use. Each in good condition. A few of the candle arms a little loose, but they are structurally sound and not in need of repair. Considerable rubbing/polish wear to the gilt surfaces. Slight bends to the candle arms. No losses to the marbles.
