About the Item
An exceptional and high quality pair of 19th century French Louis XVI. Brass lampstand and ormolu 06 arms. Each lampstand has an attractive and rich abrasive bronze cherub. A cherub with an ormolu wicker basket on its head, and one with ormolu amphora on its side. The 06 S-roll arms are decorated with stacked acanthus leaves and a rinceau pattern, in the center is an ormolu bow with a decorative garland wrapped around it. All original gilding and transparent rust layer.
