Pair of French 19th Century Louis XVI St. Candelabras
About the Item
A beautiful pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. candelabras. Each candelabra is raised on a a white Carrara marble support with ormolu beaded trim at the base. The reeded column above is decorated by ormolu chandelles. Three scrolled arms with finely chased candle cups end in paw feet above the finely chased acanthus leaf base. A central pierced urn with inverted finial below has an acorn finial above that can be turned over to create a fourth candle cup. All original gilt.
