About the Item

This amazing pair of Louis XVI / Directoire period candelabra are of the finest quality. The figures are modeled as Roman Vestal Virgins issuing three scrolling acanthus leaf candle branches. They are mounted on Carrara marble colunmnar bases with ormolu mounts.
