Pair of bronze ormolu-mounted Chinese export porcelain vases, Qing dynasty, early 20th century, the vases in famille rose enamels on a vibrant purple ground, with butterflies and lizards. Stunningly beautiful and highly decorative, the gilt bronze mounts, made in Paris, lend a dignified restraint to the bold whimsy of the vases themselves. Base of candelabra measures 6".
