Pair of cast sterling silver candelabra

About the Item

Pair of versatile, two-branch, three-light, cast solid silver candelabra, created in an English style first made popular during the early 1760s. The branches are detachable and can be mounted one upon the other to create a single five-light candelabrum whose height casts more light across the table. The nozzles and wax pans are also removable making cleaning a much easier task. Removing the candelabra arms leaves a pair of elegant candlesticks for more intimate dining. The maximum height and span are given. As a pair of candelabra the heights are 400mm (15¾") and as single candlesticks they are 235mm (9¼"). Weight: 2936 g (94.39 troy ozs)
