About the Item
A very high quality true pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. ormolu and patinated bronze, three arm candelabras. Each beautiful candelabra is raised by a square white Carrara marble base with concave corners. The ormolu socle pedestal displays a finely chased ormolu foliate wrap around band and a fluted design with intricately detailed fitted foliate chandelles. The charming patinated bronze cherubs are draped in a wonderfully executed flowing fabric and are holding the three scrolled foliate ormolu arms decorated with lovely detailed berries and fluted candle cups. All original gilt and warm patina throughout.
