Pair of Hand Forged Tree Shaped Candle Holders, Iron, Gold Leaf
Spain, 1940s

One of a kind hand forged iron foliage candle holders. This stunning candle holders are finely executed in hand hammered iron and finished in gold leaf gilding retaining rests of a black patina.
Each candelabra features a tree form base with 3 branches beautifully adorned by small leaves holding 3 candle holders.
These candleholders were entirely made by hand at the Hollywood Regency period. Its design with naturalistic inspiration and the Master blacksmith's work mark the difference in these pieces.
They have a terrific aged patina retaining rests of their original gold leaf gilding.
Rare find.
