About the Item
"Chorus" a modern-style candelabra, designed in 2004 by award winning industrial designer Karim Rashid in collaboration with Umbra.
A wonderful and innovative shape: the candelabra features four metal pillars, each holding a single candle, tapering as they descend downward before curving inward to meet at a softly domed crown.
This design replaces the sharp angles typical of modernism with fluid, ribbon-like curves, a style that Karim describes as "sensual minimalism."
Meticulous and artistic in all aspects, from design to manufacture, "Chorus" is crafted from die-cast zinc and enhanced with a plated layer of satin chrome. The metal finish exudes a subtle warmth that complements its delicate, yet robust form. "Chorus" is now recognized as a design classic, seamlessly integrating into various interior styles.
Measuring 19.2 cm in width and depth, with a height of 22.5 cm. The piece is in good condition for its age and use, with some minor scratching to the metal surface.
