Iron and Glass Candle Holder Chandelier by Dantoft, 1970s
A candle holder chandelier by Dantoft Kunstartikler, made in the 1970s, combining wrought iron with inset coloured glass details. The frame is formed from curved iron, giving the piece a sculptural outline, while small glass elements in a beautiful blue tone are set into the structure as decorative accents. Four clear glass holders are arranged around the frame to carry candles, their transparency contrasting with the darker iron.
The combination of robust metalwork and playful glass gives the chandelier a lively yet grounded character. Suitable for use indoors or outside, it reflects the 1970s taste for handcrafted materials and expressive forms, balancing utility with a decorative presence. Total mounting height is 72cm with extra original hook.
