About the Item

1990s French coral gilded "Morea" candleholder designed by Stéphane Galerneau. The candleholder is from the Création Galant collection, produced around 1995. The candleholder is created from a number of pewter coral branches welded together before being gilded and patinated to give depth and brightness to the relief. The coral is attached to a thin rod on the reverse with a single candleholder at the top. The base is inscribed "Galerneau Paris" In very good vintage condition. Perfect for a dining table or on a sideboard for functional or decorative purposes. Dimensions: Width: 25cm Depth: 8.5cm Height: 45.5cm Base Width: 12cm Depth: 8.5cm
