Very rare, likely one of a Kind pair of Hand -Forged Brutalist Post Modern Candler Holders by famed American Sculptor R. W. Stoller. Signed and dated
These stunning Matisse lime abstract holder sit upon slim modernist aluminum bases ( 4" x 3")
Both bases are the same color. One appears to be darker in my photos
The signature is hand etched and dated on the base, 1999
The tops of the holders are made of 4 simple angular almost Gothic prongs, a design popular during the Bauhaus period
Strollers designs adhere to the minimalist aesthetic of form and function and his use of raw aluminum materials
