20th Century French Faience Pair of Candlesticks with Vase from Henriot Quimper
About the Item
Decorate a shelf with these three faience pieces from Quimper, crafted by Henriot in Brittany, circa 1950, the colorful set includes two candlesticks with hand painted Breton figures and floral decor, and a matching flower vase with Breton woman. All three ceramic pieces are in excellent condition and signed on the bottom Henriot Quimper France.
Founded in Quimper in 1690, the HB-Henriot Manufacture has always innovated and worked with artists since this date.
Nowadays, HB-Henriot is well-known all-over the world for its know-how, the "Quimper paint touch" and the tradition of producing and hand-painting every piece in-house as well as the creation of its own molds.
