A round, vintage Mid-Century Modern Swedish Ljusstake, candlestick made of hand crafted chrome, designed by Gunnar Ander and produced by Ystad-Metall in good condition. The Scandinavian candle holder has six different lengths. Stamped Made in Sweden. Wear consistent with age and use, circa 1950 - 1960, Malmö, Sweden, Scandinavia.
Gunnar Ander was a Swedish artist and a designer born and passed away in Sweden. Ander's personal life and professional training remains lost in history.
Ystad-Metall was a Swedish metal, brass manufacturer, founded in 1919, in Malmo, in Sweden. The company was active until 1969. Well-know designers have designed, worked for Ystad-Metall, such as Ivar Ålenius Björk and Gunnar Ander, etc.
