About the Item
An exceptional, fine and impressive pair of contemporary English sterling silver candlesticks made by Carr's of Sheffield Ltd in the Design style - boxed; an addition to our ornamental silverware collection
These exceptional contemporary sterling silver candlesticks have a swept square form; these pieces are reproductions, in the Design style.
These English silver candlesticks have plain broad chamfered tapering capitals supported by panelled waisted elongated columns.
The panelled square swept bases are embellished are plain and unembellished, apart from the feature hallmarks.
The filled base of each Design style candlestick is fitted with green baize.
Each sterling silver candlestick is fitted to the impressive and original card presentation box, featuring a satin lined interior and retaining the original Carr's guarantee cards.
These exceptional candlesticks have been crafted by the renowned silversmiths Carr's of Sheffield Ltd.
Condition
These contemporary English silver candlesticks are an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the bases are all very clear.

These exceptional antique Edwardian English sterling silver candlesticks have a plain square form in the classic Arts and Crafts style.
The plain hallmarked waisted cylindrical capitals of these antique silver candlesticks surmount circular rounded drip pans.
The capitals are supported by plain faceted tapering columns embellished with a broad band of rivet decoration to the lower portion.
The square base of each candlestick is embellished with a continuation of applied rivet style decoration to the corners.
The weighted silver bases of these impressive Arts & Crafts candlesticks are fitted with green baize to the underside.

An exceptional, fine and impressive pair of antique Asian sterling silver candlesticks; an addition to our Asian silverware collection.
These exceptional antique Asian sterling silver candlesticks have a square form.
The plain cylindrical capitals of these exceptional examples of antique 1890s silverware are fitted with fixed square sconces ornamented with a simplistic lobed design to the rim.
The capitals are supported by impressive Aztec totem pole style columns, embellished with chased decorated offset cuboid segments.
The lower portion of the cuboid column is plain and unembellished.
The swept square foot of each candlestick is further embellished with chased stylised gadroon decoration.
These exceptional silver candlesticks do not have weighted bases.
These candlesticks have been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as sterling silver.
