Art Nouveau Pair Continental Glass And Marble Candlesticks
About the Item
A stylish pair Art Nouveau continental candlesticks with metal fittings on marble bases and with glass columns probably Austrian or German and dating from around 1900. The candlesticks stand raised on four square metal feet with square yellow marble bases with a central rounded polished glass stem mounted in brass fittings and with a brass sconce with a rounded base cold painted in black and red with simple design applied around the edge. The candlesticks are not marked.
In good condition with some minor age related chipping to the bases and age surface wear to the metal fittings.
