FINE PAIR OF LATE 17TH CENTURY, PERSONALISED, FLEMISH, BRASS CANDLESTICKS WITH PRICKETS, POSSIBLY A LOVE TOKEN AS INSCRIBED WITH A HEART MOTIF AND INITIALS
- Personalised : The bottom edge of one side is incised to form a heart & the initials N & D & scrollwork
- Characteristic form of the period and unsusually personalized with inscribed initials either side of a heart: motif virtually worn away on one stick and worn but distinguishable on the other
- Inject period atmosphere and charm into the interior
- Original condition and patina.
