About the Item

Circa 1750 George II period Pair of Brass Candlesticks. Swirl base; cast in 2 parts for each section. The decorative knob is also swirl cut reflecting the bases, while the bobeches are cut with a gardroon border. Fine patina. Very good condition commensurate with age & use. 9 1/8" h., 4.5" dia. base.
