About the Item
Ermanno Nason for Cenedese attributed large Mid-Century Modern vintage Italian pink Murano glass, with gold dust inclusions, candlestick holder, with handle for easy carrying and gold dust inclusions, made circa 1950s -1990s. This large, almost oversized piece of glass features a kneeling Cherub, head bowed and holding a cup above his head to hold a single candle. This is really a stunning centrepiece which captures the light beautifully and would make a wonderful conversation piece. Featuring the Cordonato d'Oro style, made famous the Barovier & Toso company in the 1950s. We have yet to identify the piece, but it could very well be either a Barovier piece or a piece by Ermanno Nason during his period at the Cenedese factory. Rare piece of glass in collectors condition. Beautiful just to look at or can be used as a candelabra.
