French Altar Reflectors/Decorations, late 18th Century

About the Item

This is outstanding pair of French 18th century Candle reflector or Flambeau. It is uncommon to find reflectors that have retained their original stands and in excellent condition. The bases are carved and gessoed faux urns with the fronts faced in repousse brass. The reflectors are finely detailed in repousse brass flowers terminating in a bow.
