French Pair of Red Patinated Turned Wood Parisian Theater Candlesticks 19th
About the Item
Charming Pair of 19th century wooden candlesticks turned with an old very worn red paint which gives them a very beautiful patina. The underside of the candlesticks is covered with marbled paper similar to an 18th century book binding paper and each has a white paper label with a stamp representing a rhinoceros.
These candlesticks come from a Parisian theater and were used as decorations for the plays.
