Candle holder designed by Hans Agne Jakobsson. It was produced by his own company, Hans Agne Jakobsson A. B. in Markaryd, Sweden. Solid brass with a wonderful patina and a hand blown glass shade. It also retains the often missing undulating star element. The original producer tag is underneath the base. This item is in a good vintage condition with patina.

Hans-Agne Jakobsson
Hans-Agne Jakobsson was a Swedish interior and furniture designer, who ran his own company from 1951. Jakobsson was especially famous for his lighting designs, which often had a softly glowing light and organic shape. His designs were inspired by great, modern Scandinavian designers such as the Finnish icon Alvar Aalto and Danish lighting master Poul Henningsen.
