About the Item
Monumental, tall and huge cobalt blue colored (coloured) Italian Murano glass candlestick holder by Cenedese. Beautiful craftsmanship and stunning bright cobalt blue color with a rippled stem encased in clear glass which appears to either have the 'scavo' finish or has been sand blasted or acid etched to give it a matt / satin finish / appearance. Incredibly rare to come across such a large example - a masterwork and real museum piece, in our opinion.
The candleholder measures - 63.9cm (25 inches) by 20cm (7.87 inches) at the top.

Rare, large Mid-Century Modern vibrant jellybean blue colored / coloured satin Murano glass pencil neck vases by Carlo Moretti (1934-2008), circa 1970.
An absolutely bold yet elegant design with the use of bright, vivid blue combined with the bulbous shape and thin pencil neck finished in a satin matt frosted glass for which Carlo Moretti was famous for. Marked with the original Carlo Moretti sticker on the base.
