Jean Després Pair of Silvered Metal Candle Holders
About the Item
Pair of silver plated candlesticks designed by Jean Despres, France, 1960s.
Round hammered base with a cylindrical stem, bottom decorated with a thick chain gourmet, three hammered sockets on a flat rectangular base, each supported by a chain ring. Incised signatures under the bottom, stamped maker's marks to the edge of the base. Very good overall condition, with normal signs of wear and time, cleaned and polished.
