About the Item
A rare and striking pair of ceramic candlesticks by renowned Swedish manufacturer Upsala Ekeby. Dating from the 1930s, these sculptural pieces embody the elegance of the Art Deco era with their voluptuous silhouette and deep green glaze with subtle metallic sheen. The softly scalloped base and top echo organic forms, giving them a timeless and tactile appeal.
Crafted in glazed ceramic with a high-gloss finish that enhances their rich color and form. Original metal label from Upsala Ekeby still intact. These candlesticks are sold as a pair and are in very good vintage condition with only minimal signs of age.
