Pair of Brass and Siena Marble Triple Candlesticks on Paw Feet and Tripod Base

About the Item

A late 19th century pair of matching triple candlesticks crafted of dark patinated brass and Siena marble. Each candlestick presents a tapering circular marble column supporting a brass circular plate issuing a central shaft. This shaft is topped with a burning torch flanked by three vase-shaped candle holders. Each piece is resting on three brass scrolling paw feet mounted on a stepped tripod marble base with concave edges and a brass wave scrolls frieze. The finely veined Siena marble contrasts beautifully with the dark patinated brass elements evoking bronze. The classic and elegant design of this elegant pair of triple candlestick, circa 1870 would grace any interior and bring undeniable style to any home.
