About the Item
Very nice pair of candlesticks richly decorated in solid bronze from around 1890. This is an impressive piece of craftsmanship, the detailed decor and the heavy quality show the speciality.
The irregular base with two short and two long legs is already completely covered with ivy leaves that climb up the whole base.
On top of this is a filigree part with a twisted column, which then ends in the candle spout, which is also covered with ivy leaves.
The round candle spout is particularly deep to allow the candle to stand stably.
Measurements each approx.: height 12,60 in – 32 cm, width 6,14 in – 15,6 cm, depth 4,92 in – 12,5 cm
An elaborate pair of candlesticks in an exquisite design, of which fortunately both pieces are still available.
