Pair of Early 20th Century French Faience Parrot Candle Holders on Bronze Bases
About the Item
Decorate a shelf with this colorful pair of bird sculptures. Crafted in France circa 1920, each sculpture stands on a bronze dore base decorated with leaf and shell motifs over foliage form scrolled feet. The hand painted bird sits on a trunk shaped base embellished with floral decor. Both parrots are in excellent condition with rich colors in the green and yellow palette. Stamp on the underside for further authentication.
